Billy Dee Williams Brings Back Colt 45

You hear Josh talk about this ad a lot!

The original TV ads ran in the 70’s-90’s. Well, I guess he still is the face of Colt 45 malt liquor and some people are sick of seeing Billy Dee advertising the “devil-juice” in their neighborhoods.

Some residents of Detroit have started complaining about a series of new billboards around the city, like the one pictured above.  The billboards are only in Detroit and not the wealthier, whiter suburbs. So, on Tuesday, members of Detroit’s city council started looking at ways to regulate billboard ads for products like this, which councilmember JoAnn Watson says are “killing our community . . . [and are] an issue of racism and perversity”.

Of course, Colt 45’s parent company, Miller Brewing, could care less and hasn’t commented on the situation.

Napoleon Dynamite and Will Ferrell Team Up Again

Comedy Central is developing a new sitcom starring “Napoleon Dynamite” star JON HEDER. He’ll be playing a computer specialist, who loses his job and moves back home to live with his parents and younger siblings.

There’s no word on a title yet, but WILL FERRELL and his partner, ADAM MCKAY, who directed “Anchorman”, “Talladega Nights” and “Step Brothers”, are producing it. The show will premiere sometime next year

Morgan Freeman To Marry His Step-Granddaughter?

This is very disturbing …

is Morgan the black Woody Allen?

The “National Enquirer” is reporting Morgan will MARRY  his STEP-GRANDDAUGHTER once he and his wife Myrna settle their divorce.  GROSS!!

E’Dena Hines is the granddaughter of Morgan’s FIRST wife, Jeanette. Morgan and Myrna raised her since she was a young child. She’s 27 now . . . and Morgan is 72.

According to the “NE”,  when E’Dena was in her teens she and Morgan allegedly began having an affair.  It all started when Morgan tried to get a little “cozy” with her, but she didn’t let him. She TOLD Myrna what happened, and Myrna cussed Morgan out and told him to leave her alone.

Soon, it became consensual and they carried on behind Myrna’s back.  Myrna filed for divorce because she found out they were doing the nasty.  A source tells “NE”:

“Morgan has led E’Dena to believe that he wants to marry her.  Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been her goal.”

YUK!!!!!!

Was MJ A Drug Addict?

TMZ is reporting about the prescription drugs found at MJ’s Neverland Ranch back in ‘03 during the 2nd child molestation case against the KING.  Oh, boy, when you read the reports on TMZ, it is really sad.  I wonder if we are seeing these photos and coming to the wrong conclusions.

Ok, I know, it’s quite obvious that MJ had an issue with painkillers and the Dr’s involved need to come clean. Dr. jumping and supplying prescription drugs to celebs IS a problem, we are seeing that with the deaths of MJ, Heath Ledger, and Anna Nicole Smith, to name a few.

But it is just sad to think about the pain and the turmoil that MJ must have been going through. If in fact he had a drug problem,  then ….. he was an ADDICT, and the struggle and mental anguish of an addict is so painful that you really can’t understand unless you have been around addicts, or have been one yourself. You can say all you want that he could’ve gotten help..bla blablablabla…but it’s not that easy.  I do hope justice is served and that other lives can be saved as a result, however, MJ’s struggle is over, and may he Rest In Peace…..

MEANWHILE….

LAPD Chief William Bratton said yesterday that, depending on what the coroner’s report on MJ says, their investigation into his death could become a CRIMINAL investigation:

“We are still awaiting corroboration from the coroner’s office as to cause of death.  That is going to be very dependent on the toxicology reports that are due to come back.  And based on those, we will have an idea of what it is we are dealing with.  Are we dealing with a HOMICIDE or are we dealing with accidental overdose?”
