MICHAEL JACKSON’S funeral gets underway at 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time.

Today is the day that Michael will be memorialized.  I have been glued to the TV and I am now just signing on.  As I get all my info together I have provided live links for you to watch the coverage.  This is for those of you who are at work and cannot get to a TV.

11:20 A.M. – The family motorcade is now en-route to FOREST LAWN for the private service as the fans have been allowed to enter the STAPLES CENTER

11:25 A.M. – The rumors are flying around that Michael’s body will be at the memorial.

11:27 A.M. - Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson are on the list of performers as well as Motown founder Berry Gordy, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson and Brooke Shields.  Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson And Members Of The Family Of Martin Luther King Jr. will also be there.  Whitney Houston and BEYONCÉ are rumored to be attending.  Also rumored to be performing are John Legend and AKON, who was working with Michael on his next album.

I heard some unconfirmed DIRT that JERMAINE JACKSON will perform “Smile” . . . a song that was co-written by CHARLIE CHAPLIN in the 1930s. Michael covered it on his 1995 compilation, “HIStory”.

11:36 – Sound Check at STAPLES CENTER begins

11:53 A.M. – Los Angeles is about $530 MILIION in debt.  So, naturally they are asking for donations to help pay for the Memorial. Hundreds of thousands of city officials are being used today. You can donate HERE

12:00 P.M. – MAJOR NETWORK COVERAGE BEGINS

12:30 P.M. – MICHAEL’ s body is on its way to STAPLES CENTER

12:48 P.M. – MICHAEL’s casket arrives in to STAPLES CENTER

1:00 P.M. – Kobe Bryant arrives at STAPLES CENTER

1:10 P.M. – Announcer inside STAPLES CENTER announces “Please take your seats”

1:12 P.M. – Smokey Robinson speaks as the Memorial Begins
