Ok, I am prepared to get TOTALLY STOMPED on this week on The Home Team, but you know what…I SAY YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Do we really know why she resigned..ok, NO. Do I think this is very strange and that I am confused by what she is doing..YES. However, Palin is stealing the headlines and she is not as stupid as people think. SHE IS THE FIRST PERSON TO KNOCK MICHAEL JACKSON OUT OF THE HEADLINES!!!

Look, bottom line, we don’t really know what she is doing, but I have faith that she has a plan..and a very good one. She wouldn’t just quit to quit. She has somethiNG up her sleeves and I believe she is going to come out guns a blazin!

Let me state that the FBI has said THERE IS NO CRIMINAL INVESTGATION on Palin. With that being said, I think that she is going to go after these people who are determined to ruin her with no reason, just becasue the “hate” her. She has a choice…ignore it, go after it as Alaska’s governer and let the people of Alask suffer by making this her priority, or do what she is BEST at…fight the corruption! The best way she can do that is by resigning. I really believe that she is going to blow away America and KICK SOME SERIOUS A$$!!

As for her lawyer’s four-page threat letter warning legal action against bloggers, and major media outlets including MSNBC, and the New York Times for defamation of character, has some but little legs to stand on. From what I know, the blogger she may be going after is SHANNON MOORE, who blogged about a possible federal investigation into Palin’s involvement with the building of a stadium and using the money to build her own home. Well, as of today, from what I have read, there is no federal investigation, the FBI has even said so. So, if any publications report on defamatory stories on Palin, with malice and no fact checking, she could go after them.

We will just have to wait and see…I could be wrong..only time will tell…

The City of Los Angeles is expecting up to 700,000 people to show up.

We all know about the tickets that went into a lottery …  17,500 free tickets were made available . . . but people had to register online. About 1.6 million did register . . . but only 8,750 of them . . . chosen at random . . . were selected and awarded one pair each.  I saw some folks ont he news that won the tickets..pretty cool..I also heard that there are tix on sale online already for about $15,000!!!  DANG!!

The “event” is happening tomorrow morning, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at the Staples Center in L.A., with a simulcast at the nearby Nokia Theatre.  Both owned by AEG live, the promoters behind Michael’s “This Is It” Tour.  The DIRT is that this “event” will have performances including Justin Timberlake, Usher and Diddy. The service will be carried live by ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and E!.

I also heard the family is having a private funeral for Michael at Forest Lawn Cemetery tomorrow morning, before the “event” at the Staples Center.

If you won the lottery, organizers are watching you!! SO, trying to scam is going to be tough.  They scanned all lottery entrants looking for duplicate entries that could indicate someone was using an auto-entry device.  They’re also giving out wristbands. Anybody who got tickets was given a code and told where to pick up their tickets today, at the Dodgers Stadium. There they’ll be given a wristband.

Many are wondering…isn’t CA broke?  How is this all going to be paid for?  It’s supposed to cost a couple million bucks.  Officials say the cost of police services for so-called “extraordinary events” like this one are already built into the LAPD’s budget. They also accept donations.

This is going to be great!  Can’t wait to watch it tomorrow!!!  Will it be a circus??  Will it go smoothly??  We shall see tomorrow!

WOW!!! What a day!! I spent the entire day at Daytona with my Dad. We had theeeee BEST TIME!! Thank you to my friend COTY who hooked my Dad and I up with AWESOME SEATS and PIT PASSES!!!!!! I was so close to JR!!! Sigh….so close yet so far away…lol!! Ok, so back to the race..

Tony Stewart in his #14 Stewart Haas owned Chevy pretty much owned the COKE ZERO 400 on the 4th of July 2009. He led 86 laps!! Denny Hamlin in his #11 Joe Gibbs Toyota was awesome too! He led over 60 laps and gave Tony a nice challenge.

But EVERYONE is talking about the AWESOME CRASH just yards away from the finish line. Did Kyle deserve to be put into the wall? Was Tony wrong? Thos are the questions that are swirling around the World Wide Nascar Net. In my quick opinion….what happpened is really no one’s “fault” that’s racing and Kyle tried to make that last block…and it resulted in a major crash.

The driver’s are even saying that’s what happens in restrictor plate races. Drivers are capped at a top speed of I believe 190 mph, so bunching is going to happen and crashes are inevitable. Is it dangerous..hell ya! The drivers aren’t very happy about this rule. But NASCAR wants to keep the restirctor plates on for “safety”. Ironic isn’t it? Well, I guess Rusty Wallace once did a test without a plate at Talladega (Daytona and Talladega are the only 2 super speedways that have restricotr plate races) and got speeds up to 228 mph..holy s&^%t!!!!
