Alyssa Milano On Baseball

Did you know Alyssa is is a huge baseball fan?  Well, she just dropped a book today called “Safe At Home:  Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic”.  Joe Torre wrote the foreward.  In the book, she talks about her experiences growing up in a family that lived for the Dodgers, her 3 realtionships with pro-baseball pitchers, and she sort of defends players who use steroids.  She compares performance-enhancing drugs in sports to cosmetic procedures done by SO MANY Hollywood actresses: 

“The big difference between injecting Botox and with taking human growth hormone is that there are no rules against Botox.”

Dave Gets Hitched!

“I don’t know what else to tell you…. but ….. here we go….”

On his show last night, Dave announced that he and longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Montana last Thursday.  Him and Regina have been together 23 years!  He joked about it last night,  saying things like they were waiting to get the “perfect pre-nup” and that he avoided getting married because he secretly felt like married men admired him for being the last “gunslinger”.

Dave and Regina have a 5-year-old son named Harry.  Dave will be 62 next month.  Regina is 48.  This is Dave’s SECOND marriage.  His first . . . to his college girlfriend Michelle Cook, lasted from 1969 to 1978.

Dave and Regina got hitched on March 19th at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana where Dave bought a ranch back in 1999.

What does $1 Trillion Look Like?

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the national debt now stands at more than $11 TRILLION.  Check out this website which uses a program called Google Sketchup to demonstrate how many $100 bills it would take to equal $1 MILLION . . . $100 MILLION . . . $1 BILLION . . . and, finally, $1 TRILLION.

Oh yeah…don’t forget to watch President Obama’s speech tonight at 8pm!!

David Cook Says BACK OFF!

“American Idol” winner DAVID COOK hasn’t even been a rock star for a year yet, and he’s already fed up with crazy fans who try a little too hard to meet him.   And he’s written a blog asking them to BACK OFF before they ruin it for everyone else…..

Hey everyone,

First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.

Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.

I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up. Take care and see you at the next show.

Jen Aniston Hates Tweeting!

Move over Angelina….Jen’s new enemy is TWITTER!

The latest tabloid DIRT , is Jennifer dumped John Mayer because of his obsession with Twitter!  Apparently John all of a sudden stopped calling her and returning her e-mails.  When they would catch up with each other, he would tell her he was just “so busy with work” and he didn’t ”have time to call.” But yet his Twitter page was filled with Tweets!! She was so P’O'd, she kicked him to the curb!  Jen, let’s just face it…..he’s just not that into you….
