Ok, now this trial is TOTALLY BIZARRE! I wrote a couple of weeks ago about Boy George’s trial over a case involving a Norwegian male prostitute who claims the former Culture Club singer chained, beat and raped him. Well, that trial ended on Friday . . . and George was found GUILTY!. He was convicted of FALSE IMPRISONMENT, which could result in a LIFE SENTENCE. He was released on bail until his sentencing on January 16th.

“The Dark Knight” starring the late Heath Ledger is out on DVD December 9th. Warner Bros.’ is also re-releasing the movie back in theaters on January 23rd (one day after the announcement of this year’s Oscar nominations.) The goal is to break the $1 billion dollar mark in worldwide ticket sales. Only three films have grossed more than $1bn worldwide – Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and The Return of the King, the third Lord of the Rings film. Its current worldwide takings stand at $996m . Rumor has it, the re-release is also to boost Oscar Buzz….for the amazing performance by Ledger.
