Travis Barker Is Suing Over Plane Crash

Travis Barker is filing a negligence lawsuit against the owners and makers of the Learjet that left four people dead and the former Blink 182 drummer, along with DJ AM, severely burnt. He faults the pilot and co-pilot . . . both of whom died in the crash . . . for a, quote, “negligent attempt to abort the takeoff.” The lawsuit states, quote, “The pilot’s decision was a breach of their duty owed to the passengers onboard and was a substantial factor in causing the crash and resultant injuries and deaths.” The lawsuit also states, quote, “[The plane's] landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, squat switches and component parts were not airworthy.” Clay Lacy Aviation has already released a statement denying any responsibility in the crash.

 

 

“I wouldn’t have been in the state I was in if I wasn’t in the crash,” Barker said  Sunday while at the Miss California USA event with Shanna Moakler.

Scott Weiland Wasted at AMA’s????

If you saw the American Music Awards last night, then you saw Scott Weiland introduced Pink’s performance of her latest single “Sober” – but, ummmmm, he DIDN’T look sober.  Sad, but so funny!

Anyway…I personally feel Pink stole the show..SHE ROCKED IT!  Especially with the AMAZING performance with Sarah McLachlan!  Chris Brown took home the Top Honor of the night for ARTIST OF THE YEAR.  Of course Kanye West gave us some great soundbites by stating he wants to be Elvis.  Performances including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, and Rihanna made this the youngest performances ever for an American Music Awards show.  All in all it was a pretty good show. I could go on and on about the show, but I haven’t had my breakfast yet, so here’s some links!:

Desperate Housewives vixen Nicollette Sheridan celebrated her 45th birthday at new L.A. hot spot Luau in Beverly Hills where OK magazine says she was mackin’ with David Spade??!!!  Some tabloids are saying she recently got dumped by Michael Bolton, so I guess she’s rebounding.  Hmmm…David Spade MUST have something going on, if you know what I mean, cuz he has been sweeping up the broken hearts of some hotties lately from Heather Locklear to Playboy Bunnies.  Well, if you got it, use it!  Nicolette looks FANTASTIC for her age, so you go girl!!  Whatever it takes to get over Bolton….even if he’s 5 feet shorter than you..

Amy Winehouse’s Marriage – “It’s Over”

Crackhead of the year, Amy Winehouse, has revealed to NEWS OF THE WORLD that her marriage to Blake-Fielder Civil is over. He’s leaving her for German model Sophie Schandorff (picture below – not much of an improvement.) Anyway……she tells the mag -”It’s over. There’s no way back for us now. It was never going to last. We were only together for SEX. I fancied him like mad, like no one else I’ve ever known. But it’s not enough, is it?” A friend of Amy’s tells the mag that they would have drug fest hard core 3-somes. GROSS!  Sex is good with her?  WOW!  You wouldn’t think that from these photos…

Megan Fox’s Drunk Confessions at GQ Awards

Ok, we ALL have at one point in our lives drank ourselves STUPID and said or did some crazy stuff….well, I am wondering how Megan is feeling this morning after confessing her secret crush at the GQ awards.  According to Page Six the foxy Fox said about High School Musical’s Zac Efron :  ”I’m obsessed with him. What you don’t know is that Zac and I are the same person . . . it’s like Janet and Michael [Jackson], we are the same person.” Ummmm…ok, whatever that means…..but she’s HOT so who really cares….
